Spring and early Summer flowers in Lakewood WA

Here are some pics of flowers I saw on walks in Lakewood WA this Spring and early Summer.  Enjoy!

This was near the bridge that goes over Ponce De Leon Creek where it flows into Lake Steilacoom
Lake Steilacoom

Many of the neighborhoods all go in bloom at once with bulbs that show off every Spring.  Want some of your own and wondering when to plant?  Click here
Periwinkles are a common flower at roadsides especially, likely because it works well as ground cover.

This may remind you of winter, but this was taken early Summer near Interlaaken bridge
Taken near the steps to the entrance of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lakewood WA, more of the bulbs that burst forth each Spring.

Camila flowers, also come in light pink shades
